Health Care Volunteer Opportunities
Whether you're interested in joining a Floating Health Care Clinic rotation, a Sea Mercy land-based clinic support opportunity, or volunteer at a South Pacific hospital or clinic, we have a volunteer program for you.
Floating Health Care Clinic
We'll have a series of incredible 2-week rotation opportunities available for our Sea Mercy international volunteers each year with our Island Nation partners. Depending upon our available FHCC vessel size and capabilities (4-10 volunteers), our rotations will consist of a combination of the health care service volunteers (and spouses):
- Medical Care Services (doctors, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists)
- Dental Care Services (dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, technicians)
- Ophthalmology Care Services (optometrists, vision assistants)

Hospital & Clinic Opportunities
If you are wishing to volunteer your time and talents to help support one of our island nation's hospitals or clinics, then we can help direct you to such opportunities.
Each potential opportunity will be unique, and the length of time you wish to volunteer will be between you and the local hospital/clinic.

Sea Mercy Remote Office Support
If you can't 'sail with a greater purpose' yourself, then there are hundreds of ways for you to use your talents and skills to help Sea Mercy support our programs, captains and volunteers in their ability to sail and serve wherever they go. Whether retired, looking for a benevolent project to support, or have family and friends volunteering with a Sea Mercy program, we need your help.
Here are a few ways you can help:
- Volunteer coordinator support (health, disaster and economic)
- Program Recruitment and Promotion (social media and website promotion)
- Medical, dental and eye care supplies acquisition
- Grant writing and Donor support
- Ground based programs
