Ways you can make a difference in the South Pacific
There are so many ways that an individual, company, or organization can support Sea Mercy and our goal to deliver health care, education and economic development services to the remote islanders in the South Pacific. Here are a few for either the Floating Health Care Clinic (FHCC) or Global Mercy Armada (GMA) programs:
The Kingdom of Tonga, located approximately 500 miles east of Fiji, will be the first island nation to receive a Sea Mercy FHCC. Tonga has over 176 islands spread across 270,000 square miles of ocean, 160 of those islands are located 100 to 500 miles north of the primary island of Tongatapu where the primary hospital and the majority of their health care staff are located. "Tonga is a good example of our more remote islands being neglected with more focus of donor aid on the main referral hospitals." Said Dr.
Help us develop healthy, self-sustaining, and thriving communities across the South Pacific.

CYCLONE YASA (FIJI) - Ongoing Efforts
It has been an ongoing labor of love for our Disaster Response teams and their efforts following Cyclone Yasa. With multiple return efforts and follow-up relief programs, it will take years for the remote villages to return to pre-Yasa conditions. https://fb.watch/3_wNE-P1dK/
With half of their houses and all of their crops destroyed, their fishing gear swept away and 11 fishing boats damaged, the 187 villagers of Yaro on Kia Island could use a helping hand. We are now over halfway towards our fundraising target goal of $8,000 to return to Yaro with material and skilled labour to repair their damaged fishing vessels and to provide more desperately needed fishing equipment.
A huge Vinaka Vakalevu (Thank You Very Much) to all of our TC Yasa volunteers and to everyone out there who is supporting us with donations to help.
