Sea Mercy Welcomes Segue to the Fleet

Sea Mercy is proud to announce that Segue (seg'way), a 55 foot Atlantic 55 Chris White sailing catamaran owned by Colin & Mercedes Dykstra, will be Sea Mercy's fourth vessel to join the growing fleet of Floating Health Care Clinic (FHCC) in the South Pacific. Formerly awaiting the 2015 program, they were activated early to assist in the Emergency Relief for Tonga, following January 11, 2014 cyclone Ian. We appreciate their willingness on short notice to step into "harms way" to meet such important needs and it is a reflection on the hearts that they have.

Colin and Mercedes bring years of charter and sailing experience navigating the waters of the South Pacific. Colin hails from Ontario Canada and Mercedes for Spain.

With room to comfortably carry 6-8 additional health care volunteers (3 cabins and 2 singles), Segue is an excellent service delivery platform for all of our programs and initiatives and provides the flexibility to deliver the much needed care and supplies to the remote islands we serve. Visit the Segue Gallery to see and learn more about her.
