Our sincere thanks to everyone who put a little in to help us meet our goal for the food initiative. A special thanks to Jose Castello for his birthday matching request wish and all those who supported him on his birthday. The food has been purchased is on its way to the Northern Lau group to meet the nutritional needs there. We will keep you posted on its progress and distribution.

The ‘desire to give’ has never been an issue within Sea Mercy’s community network of individual, corporate and NGO sponsors. However, the question of ‘how best to give’ and ‘how will it be used’ has always been the most important one to answer. When that is made clear, the support has always been there quickly and powerfully. As a 100% volunteer organization, 100% of all donations are used to secure the aid, transport costs and ‘last mile’ delivery to the devastated communities we serve.
Help us develop healthy, self-sustaining, and thriving communities across the South Pacific.

CYCLONE YASA (FIJI) - Ongoing Efforts
It has been an ongoing labor of love for our Disaster Response teams and their efforts following Cyclone Yasa. With multiple return efforts and follow-up relief programs, it will take years for the remote villages to return to pre-Yasa conditions. https://fb.watch/3_wNE-P1dK/
With half of their houses and all of their crops destroyed, their fishing gear swept away and 11 fishing boats damaged, the 187 villagers of Yaro on Kia Island could use a helping hand. We are now over halfway towards our fundraising target goal of $8,000 to return to Yaro with material and skilled labour to repair their damaged fishing vessels and to provide more desperately needed fishing equipment.
A huge Vinaka Vakalevu (Thank You Very Much) to all of our TC Yasa volunteers and to everyone out there who is supporting us with donations to help.

Thank you!

Sea Bridge Champions
Without the financial and in-kind support of the following Sea Bridge Champions, this project would never have become a reality for the thousands of remote island communities across the South Pacific. Thank You.
